I am a passionate physicist by training in the CNS program in Brent Doiron’s and Dave Freedman’s labs. I studied early universe cosmology prior to switching to neuroscience after college and worked in Ken Miller's lab at Columbia during the pandemic through that transition. At UChicago, I’m interested in understanding the underlying networks of the brain, in particular how learning and memory are shaped by intrinsic cellular properties and circuit mechanisms. For example, how do different plasticity mechanisms shape assembly formation and impact its stability? I am also very interested in generalized principles of neural computation including the role that neural heterogeneity impacts computation in nonplastic networks. I love what I do :)

In my free time, I enjoy working out and reading various topics from world history to religion to philosophy. My husband and I enjoy traveling when we can - which has taken us on diving adventures, kayaking, biking, etc!
