Rashi joined the Computational Neuroscience Program (CNS) in 2021 after earning her Honors Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, with a focus on computational neuroscience, from Johns Hopkins University. Her research investigates the neural dynamics of M1 population activity during prehensile movements. She works with human brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to develop models that decode motor intent, aiming to create neuroprosthetics with more natural and flexible control.

Her primary research interest is in understanding the sensorimotor system, and the pathways that facilitate feedforward and feedback communication between sensory and motor regions of the brain for precise motor control.
