Broadly, I am interested in how the synaptic wiring and dynamics of neural circuits relate to functionality. My research primarily explores the synaptic plasticity and circuit mechanisms underlying associative learning. In my free time, I enjoy biking, hiking, and playing sports, such as tennis and softball.
The CNS program has been a great experience because of the friendly, supportive community. People share ideas, help each other with experiments, and provide constructive feedback, making collaboration a natural part of the program.
