Students in the PhD program in Computational Neuroscience have access to several neuroscience journal clubs. The groups meet regularly, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where students can present and discuss recent journal articles, share insights, and explore various topics.
Participants benefit from diverse perspectives, enhancing their critical thinking and analytical skills while building connections with peers and faculty members.
The Addiction Journal Club, sponsored by the NIDA T32 Training Program, meets biweekly on Fridays at lunchtime. In addition to the club, the training grant also supports a day-long retreat and hosts external speakers as part of the regular Neuroscience Seminar Series.
Journal club sponsored by the Motor Control Training Grant and organized by current Motor Control trainees with support from Elena Rizzo and Lili Gonzalez. The club meets once a month on the second Thursday during lunchtime. The training grant also sponsors an annual workshop.
